Warehouse Operative

Location: Houndmills industrial estate – Basingstoke
Pay Rate: £14.24 per hour

Start date monday 13th july

About the Role

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join our team in Basingstoke. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that requires individuals who are physically fit, motivated, and able to work efficiently as part of a team.

You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately while maintaining high standards of safety and housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately.

• Loading and unloading deliveries.

• Moving stock safely around the warehouse.

• Receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods.

• Preparing orders for dispatch.

• Carrying out stock checks and inventory tasks as required.

• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety procedures.

• Operating warehouse equipment where trained and authorised.

• Working as part of a team to meet daily productivity targets.

Requirements

• Must be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and lifting throughout the shift.

• Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

• Good attention to detail and accuracy.

• Reliable with a strong work ethic.

• Able to work well independently and as part of a team.

• Good communication skills.

• Flexible and willing to support operational requirements.
