We are seeking a reliable and practical support worker to assist a professional ceramic artist with studio work and workshops. This hands-on role suits someone with a creative/art background and an interest in ceramics.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare clay, casting molds, and tools for ceramic production

Load and unload kilns, glaze ceramics, and maintain studio cleanliness

Assist with setting up and packing down for workshops and events, including travel within the local area

Support practical tasks requiring physical assistance due to artist’s disabilities

Maintain health and safety standards within the studio and during workshops
Requirements:

Experience supporting someone with physical challenges preferred

Art background essential; ceramics knowledge is a plus (training available)

DBS check and safeguarding training essential due to workshop locations

First aid training is desirable but not essential

Ability to travel locally and assist with loading/unloading equipment
