Press Setter Operator

We are currently recruiting for a press setter operator for one of our engineering facilities based in Dudley. This will be a full time role on predominately set day shift 6.00am -2.00pm. This will be a long term temporary role.

Main duties

Setting and operating power presses  

Setting pneumatic and hydraulic power presses From 10 Ton -250 Tonnage

Loading and unloading presses / Machinery

Quality checking metal parts

Tube manipulation , working with various metals

Must be able to interpret and follow instructions via technical drawings

Perform regular quality checks to ensure components meet specifications

Requirements

You must have relevant experience in power press work

You must be ROSPA trained to legally set the machines.

You must be able to Interpret technical drawings and adjust machine settings accordingly

Hours are  Monday – Friday 6am to 2pm  – may at times be asked to work 2pm to 10pm but short term and then shift allowance is £20 per week.

Pay £15.00ph
