Winner Recruitment is working in partnership with a reputable and well-established service provider that is expanding its team. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to support planned and reactive maintenance operations across multiple retail sites.

Role Overview:

As a Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing gas systems across various client sites. This mobile position covers Sheffield, Leeds, Nottingham, and surrounding areas, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of commercial gas equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive maintenance services to a variety of commercial gas systems across retail environments.
  • This includes working on boilers, burners, heating systems, gas pipework, and associated plant equipment.
  • You will ensure that all work complies with relevant gas safety legislation, industry regulations, and health and safety standards.
  • As part of a wider facilities team, you’ll collaborate with colleagues across multiple disciplines to maintain high standards of service delivery.
  • You will also provide technical advice, diagnose faults, and implement cost-effective solutions to meet client requirements efficiently and professionally.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must hold ACS Commercial & Domestic Gas qualifications, including:
    • CCN1 & COCN1 (or CODNCO1)
    • ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1/1A
  • Previous experience in a commercial or facilities management setting
  • Strong knowledge of commercial heating systems and gas safety standards
  • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to your work
  • Full UK driving licence (essential due to mobile nature of the role)
