Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fire Stopper to join our team on a permanent basis. The role will involve carrying out high-quality fire stopping works across sites throughout the East and West Midlands, ensuring full compliance with fire safety regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain fire stopping systems in accordance with approved specifications and manufacturer guidelines
• Carry out fire sealing to service penetrations, including pipes, cables, ducts, and trunking
• Install fire barriers, fire batts, fire mastic, intumescent products, and collars
• Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications
• Ensure all works meet current fire safety regulations and building standards
• Complete work to a high standard within agreed timescales
• Accurately record completed works, including photographic evidence and reports where required
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment
• Liaise professionally with site managers, clients, and other trades on site

Requirements:

• Proven experience in fire stopping works
• Strong knowledge of passive fire protection systems and regulations
• Ability to work independently and manage workload across multiple sites
• CSCS card (essential)
• NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection or equivalent (preferred)
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
