Pay Rates:

• Monday to Friday Days: £15.41 per hour
• Monday to Friday Nights: £16.25 per hour
• Weekend Days: £18.49 per hour
• Weekend Nights: £19.33 per hour

Job Type: Temporary, ongoing – Guaranteed 5 days per week – NO CANCELLATION
Experience Required: Minimum 6 months driving experience 

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Class 1 Driver to join our dynamic team in Goole. This role involves transporting goods across the UK, ensuring safe, timely deliveries, and maintaining high professional standards. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role and hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Transport goods to various locations, ensuring all deliveries are on time.
• Complete vehicle checks before departure to ensure it is roadworthy.
• Maintain accurate records of driving hours, deliveries, and other necessary paperwork.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, health and safety guidelines, and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service while delivering goods to clients.
• Work closely with the transport team to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure all goods are handled and delivered in line with safety and quality standards.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving license.
• Minimum 6 months of relevant driving experience.
• CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent time management and route planning skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• A professional and reliable approach to work.
