Gate Controller – Immediate Start | Coventry (CV8 3EE)

We are currently recruiting for a Gate Controller to join our busy and fast-paced operation in Coventry. This is a great opportunity for someone organised, reliable, and ready to start work immediately.

Shift Patterns:

• Night Shift: Monday to Friday, 22:00 – 08:00
• Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 10:30 – 19:00

Pay Rates:

• Starting from £12.30 per hour
• Increasing to £13.54 after 12 weeks

Key Responsibilities:

As a Gate Controller, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the site. Your duties will include:

• Booking trailers in and out of the site accurately
• Checking and recording vehicle and driver details
• Communicating with drivers, warehouse teams, and transport staff
• Managing gate access and ensuring site security procedures are followed
• Keeping records up to date using internal systems
• Handling a high volume of vehicle movements in a fast-paced environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Comfortable using basic computer systems

Experience is preferred but not essential – full training will be provided for the right candidate.
