Are you an English Teacher looking for your next long-term role in Birmingham?

Winner Education are working with a secondary school in Great Barr (B74) who are seeking a dedicated English Teacher to start as soon as possible. This is a full-time role for the academic year, teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop their reading, writing, and analytical skills, and prepare for their GCSE exams.

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver engaging English lessons across reading, writing, and literature

  • Support student progress and exam preparation

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Monitor and assess achievement, giving regular feedback

  • Work with the department to uphold curriculum standards

What We’re Looking For:

  • Recent experience teaching English in a UK secondary school

  • Confidence teaching up to GCSE level

  • QTS or an English-related degree with teaching experience

  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
