A Day in the Life of a Class 1 Driver

As a Day Shift Class 1 Driver, you’ll play a key role in keeping deliveries moving smoothly and ensuring customers receive their goods on time.

Your day will involve carrying out deliveries and collections between depots and customer locations, while providing a professional and friendly service. Manual handling is part of the role, so you will be expected to assist with loading and unloading parcels where required.

You’ll also use handheld devices and company systems to update delivery information, record completed jobs, and stay in touch with the transport team throughout your shift.

We’re looking for drivers who take pride in their work, have a positive attitude, and can work well both independently and as part of a team. Safety is a top priority, so you’ll be expected to follow all transport and health and safety procedures at all times.

You’ll be joining a welcoming and supportive team where everyone works together to get the job done. Management are approachable and always on hand to help, creating a positive working environment where your contribution is valued.

Full-Time Opportunities Available

Work location:

L11 2BD – Liverpool

Shift Pattern:
• Start time is between 6AM and 9AM 
• Weekend availability required

Pay:
• £16.36 per hour

• OT available after 40 hours

Requirements:
• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• No points on licence
• Previous experience as a Class 1 Driver is essential
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable and punctual
• Good communication skills
• Flexible approach to shifts and duties
• Able to follow health and safety procedures
• Must work well as part of a team
