Depot Site Manager – 3-Month FTC
Location: Norwich, NR6
Salary: £60,000 per annum (pro-rata)
Contract: 3-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Hours: Full-time

Winner Recruitment is working with a leading national parcel and e-commerce logistics provider to recruit an experienced Depot Site Manager to oversee operations at one of their major facilities. This is a high-impact opportunity for a strong operational leader to step into a fast-paced environment and drive performance, safety, and continuous improvement.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for day-to-day operations, ensuring the site runs efficiently, safely, and in line with company standards. You’ll be leading, coaching, and developing a team to consistently deliver strong performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a warehouse team to achieve operational targets
  • Execute warehouse and manual-handling strategies aligned with wider business goals
  • Ensure all operations meet cost, quality, safety, and customer requirements
  • Review and improve site processes, layouts, equipment utilisation and workflows
  • Maintain full compliance with safety and security standards
  • Manage site performance, KPIs, and undertaking performance management where needed
  • Produce accurate financial forecasts and support budgetary control
  • Complete monthly payroll submissions and highlight any anomalies
  • Build trusted relationships with key operational stakeholders
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities that support efficiency and reduce cost

About You

We are looking for an individual with:

  • 5+ years’ experience in warehouse management or senior operations roles
  • Experience leading teams in a fast-paced warehouse or parcel logistics environment
  • Strong leadership abilities with a collaborative and motivational approach
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence managing senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to review operational data
  • Experience with budget control and financial reporting
  • CPC qualification (advantageous but not essential)
