Job Title: Commercial Plumber
Location: Gateshead
Pay Rate: £19.00 per hour (PAYE)
Hours: Full-time

The Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled Commercial Plumber to join our team, working on a busy distribution centre site. This is a hands-on role involving a mix of reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of all plumbing systems across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out reactive plumbing repairs across the distribution centre

• Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on water systems

• Conducting water compliance testing, including temperature checks and sampling

• Diagnosing faults and implementing effective repairs

• Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety and compliance standards

• Maintaining accurate records of work carried out

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a commercial plumber

• Experience working in a facilities management or building services environment

• Knowledge of water hygiene and compliance (Legionella awareness desirable)

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
