Fire Stopping Supervisor (Working Supervisor)

We are recruiting an experienced SSSTS Fire Stopping Supervisor to join a growing Passive Fire Protection team. This is a working supervisor role covering national projects across social housing (including HRBs), commercial buildings, and healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise fire stopping operatives across a range of live projects.

• Oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring works are completed safely, compliantly, and to specification.

• Carry out hands-on fire stopping works as required (working supervisor).

• Ensure high standards of workmanship in line with Passive Fire Protection requirements.

• Conduct quality checks, complete documentation, and liaise with clients and internal teams.

• Support the delivery of works across social housing, commercial, and healthcare projects.

Essential Requirements

• Valid driving licence.

• SSSTS (active).

• NVQ Level 2 – Passive Fire Protection.

• CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Passive Fire Protection.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working as an SSSTS supervisor.

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

• Enhanced DBS.

• CSCS Gold Card / NVQ Level 3 in Site Supervision.

• 3–5+ years’ experience in PFP.

• UKATA Asbestos Awareness.

• Experience working with Firefly, Rockwool, or Quelfire systems.

Desirable Bonus Skills

• IPAF

• PASMA

• Experience using One Trace software
