About the Role
We are currently working with a leading fire protection company who seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join their team. This is a key role within the business, responsible for identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving sustainable growth. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to shape their sales strategy and deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across target markets.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders and clients.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.

  • Conduct market research to understand trends, competitor activity, and client needs.

  • Deliver professional presentations and proposals to prospective clients.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handover and delivery of services.

  • Track, report, and forecast sales performance against agreed KPIs.

About You

  • Previous background within fire protection, construction or M&E

  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management.

  • Strong negotiation, influencing, and presentation skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.

  • Strategic thinker with a commercial mindset.

  • Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.

  • Previous experience within [insert relevant sector, e.g., Facilities Management, Social Housing, Construction, Professional Services] is desirable but not essential.
