Digital Print Machine Operative

Location: Nechells Birmingham
Hours: 37.25 hours a week with possible overtime occasionally

Monday – Thursday 9.00am – 6.00pm and Friday 8.15am – 1.30pm

Temporary – Permanent role Payign £12.65per hour 

We are looking for a Digital Print Machine Operative to join our dynamic production team.

 About the Role

As a Digital Print Machine Operative, you will play a key role in producing high-quality printed products using our bespoke digital printing equipment. From preparing materials and running print jobs to packaging and maintaining production targets, you’ll be essential to ensuring smooth, efficient output.

Key Responsibilities

  • Load and unload materials using specialist digital print equipment
  • Follow company specifications to process and package materials
  • Carry out operator-led machine maintenance
  • Record daily production using company software
  • Support quarterly stock takes
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure workflow efficiency
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Identify and minimize workplace hazards
  • Handle waste and spills in line with environmental procedures
  • Undertake any other duties as required by management

 What We’re Looking For

  • You must have a Minimum of 2 years of experience in the digital print sector
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong colour sense
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritise independent
  • Have experience in maintenance of the machines and equipment
  • Good communication skills and computer literacy
  • Adaptable and able to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Resilient under pressure and committed to high standards of quality and safety
