Class 1 HGV Drivers – Tramping or Trunking

Pay: £19.05 – £20.17 per hour (PAYE)

Hours: 50-60 hours per week

We’re currently recruiting experienced Class 1 Drivers for an exciting opportunity based in Rotherham. Whether you prefer tramping or trunking, we have ongoing work available with guaranteed hours and excellent rates of pay.

The Role

You’ll be delivering biomass to power stations across the UK, operating modern Class 1 vehicles while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

This is ongoing work with consistent hours, making it an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for long-term, reliable employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver biomass to power stations across the UK
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and on time
• Complete all delivery paperwork accurately
• Comply with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Tachograph regulations
• Represent the business professionally at customer sites

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of UK driving regulations
• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach
• Previous Class 1 experience preferred
