Class 1 Night Driver Required

Location: Leeds
Salary: £20ph Including Holidays PAYE
Shift Pattern: Night Shifts – 5pm starts, maximum 12 hour shifts but usually less. Minimum of 8 hours pay when on Job and Knock
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Class 1 (C+E) Night Driver to join our growing transport team.

The Role

As a Class 1 Night Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods across designated routes, ensuring excellent customer service and full compliance with transport legislation and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Completing trunking and depot-to-depot deliveries.
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects.
• Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.
• Maintaining compliance with Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations.
• Securing loads safely and operating vehicles responsibly.
• Delivering excellent standards of professionalism at all times.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence with less than 6 points and no IN or D’s
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 2 Years Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Good understanding of Driver Hours regulations.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts.
