STORES OPERATIVE – ROTATING SHIFTS

We are currently recruiting for a Stores Operative for a large prestigious Logistics company based in Tamworth. This is a Temp – Permanent role working on Rotating Shifts

Working Hours: are Monday to Thursday: AM Shift 05:50 AM to 14:00 PM

Friday AM Shift 05:50 to 12.40 PM

PM Shift 13:50 to 22.15 PM –  Friday  PM Shift 12:30 to 18.20 PM

Pay Including Shift Allowance £15.25ph

Key Responsibilities

Booking Goods in and Out on the in house system

Stock counting and inventory management

Line Feeding with materials using forklift or LLOP truck

Making sure all delivery of goods are despatched to the correct departments

Loading and unloading vans and Deliveries

Booking stock in and organising Goods Out   

Printing off paperwork

Putting stock away in designated areas

Updating information and orders on Excel spreadsheets 

Moving stock using PPT or FLT as and when required 

Some heavy lifting involved, within this manual role

Stock taking of products ready for Audits – Accuracy is essential 

Making sure inventory is correct at all times

Experience Required

Minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar environment

Be proficient on Excel and ERP Systems

Ideally hold a valid FLT Licence and driving licence

You will need to have good attention to detail for this role  

Must have a keen eye for intricate details 

You will need to have good communication and written skills

Be very numerical and methodical due to order numbers and specifications
