Facilities Assistant Manager
Location: Aberdeen
Hourly Rate: £16.83 per hour

The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Assistant Manager to support the delivery of high-quality Facilities Management services across a busy and dynamic site. Working closely with the Facilities Manager, you’ll play a key role in overseeing daily operations, managing teams, and ensuring service excellence across both hard and soft FM services.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step up into a more senior role or already operating at Assistant Manager level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Facilities Manager in the day-to-day running of the site

  • Lead and motivate on-site teams, ensuring high standards of service delivery

  • Oversee planned and reactive maintenance programmes

  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders

  • Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics, driving continuous improvement

  • Manage subcontractors and service partners

  • Assist with budgeting, reporting, and cost control

  • Carry out regular audits and site inspections

About You

  • Experience within Facilities Management or Building Services

  • Previous supervisory or junior management experience

  • Strong understanding of health & safety (IOSH or NEBOSH desirable)

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities

  • Experience with CAFM systems and reporting tools is advantageous
