The Role
We are currently recruiting for a mechanically biased Foot Mobile Engineer to cover a portfolio of commercial sites across Zone 1, City of London.
This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong background in mechanical building services who enjoys working across multiple sites and delivering high standards of maintenance in a client-facing environment.
Offered on a temp to perm basis, this position provides long-term stability and the opportunity to join a growing and well-established contract.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance

Maintain and repair mechanical plant and systems including:

AHUs & FCUs
-
Pumps and motors
-
Pipework and plumbing systems
-
Heating and ventilation systems
-

Fault find and diagnose mechanical issues efficiently

Support on basic electrical tasks where required (e.g. lighting checks)

Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations

Build and maintain strong client relationships across multiple sites

Accurately complete job reports and maintenance records
Requirements
Essential
-
Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Building Services Engineer

Strong mechanical skillset covering HVAC, plant, and plumbing systems

Experience carrying out PPMs and reactive maintenance independently

Good understanding of health & safety compliance

Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
Desirable
-
Relevant mechanical qualifications (e.g. City & Guilds / NVQ in Mechanical Engineering, Heating & Ventilation, or Plumbing)

Experience in commercial office environments

Basic electrical knowledge (non-qualified support level only)

Familiarity with CAFM systems
