Area Cleaning Manager
Location: Liverpool (multi-site role)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £35,000 + Vehicle + Fuel Card
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Area Cleaning Manager to oversee a portfolio of sites across Liverpool. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for maintaining high cleaning standards, managing cleaning operatives, and building strong client relationships.
You will play a key role in ensuring service excellence, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction across a variety of commercial sites.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day cleaning operations across multiple sites

Manage, support, and motivate cleaning operatives and supervisors

Conduct regular site audits and quality inspections to ensure high standards

Recruit, train, and induct new staff

Manage rotas, staffing levels, and absence cover

Maintain health & safety compliance across all sites

Manage stock control and order cleaning supplies as required

Act as the main point of contact for clients, handling queries and resolving issues promptly

Monitor KPIs and ensure contractual obligations are met

Produce reports for senior management as required
About You

Previous experience in a cleaning management or supervisory role

Experience managing multiple sites is highly desirable

Strong leadership and people management skills

Excellent organisational and time-management abilities

Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills

Knowledge of cleaning standards, COSHH, and health & safety regulations

Full UK driving licence (essential)
