Winner Recruitment have partnered with an exciting, forward-thinking client in the Barnsley area are we are recruiting for Permanent Metal processing and Metal Sorting operatives
Metals processor – £27,500 yearly
Metals sorter – £29,000 yearly.
Days Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:00pm
Duties include:
- Sort, grade, and process incoming materials
- Prepare materials to the required quality standards
- Use an XRF scanner to identify and verify materials
- Operate processing equipment such as saws, shears, shredders, and blasting machinery
- Keep basic records using IT systems
The candidate must have experience in the recognition, identification and reporting of special metal contamination within the materials that may include, foreign attachments/coatings/inserts/tips & repair welds
