Winner Recruitment are currently working with an outstanding family run service provider who are looking to grow their Mechanical team. They are looking for commercial gas engineers to perform a mixture of planned and reactive maintenance across commercial & retail sites throughout the UK.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- As a Commercial gas engineer, you will perform a mixture of PPM & Reactive maintenance across commercial gas appliances such as commercial boilers, pipework, valves, & ventilation.
- You will also be responsible for performing mixture of maintenance across plumbing such as replacing taps & repairing leaks
- You will conduct regular inspections to ensure the safe operation of gas systems
- As a Commercial gas engineer, you will diagnose faults in gas appliances and carry out necessary repairs.
- You will assemble components as needed for various projects.
- As a commercial gas engineer, you will need to understand, complete all work-related documentation accurately on time and to exceed the customers’ expectations
- You will collaborate with other tradespeople to complete installations efficiently.
- You will maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Always adhere to health and safety regulations.
Candidate:
- As a commercial gas engineer you will need the relevant qualifications e.g. COCN1, MET1, CCN1, CEN1, CKR1, HTR1, CDGA1, CIGA1, CODNCO1, CORT1, UVHW.
- It would be beneficial if you held commercial catering tickets
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and fault find issues effectively.
- A good general experience in working in occupied premises.
- Clear communicator both oral and written.
- A customer focused approach.
