Job Type: Full-time / Permanent or Ongoing Agency Contract
Salary: £18.00 – £21.00 per hour (depending on shift pattern)
Shifts: Days / Nights / Weekends available
About the Role
We’re currently recruiting Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers to join our growing team based in Pineham, Northampton. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers who are looking for consistent work, modern vehicles, and a supportive transport team.
You’ll be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods across the UK, ensuring all loads are secured and paperwork is completed accurately. Depending on the client and shift, work may include trunking, store deliveries, or trailer swaps.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out Class 1 (C+E) driving duties in a safe and efficient manner

Complete all relevant delivery and collection paperwork

Conduct daily vehicle checks in line with company policy

Adhere to all tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations

Maintain a professional and courteous manner at all times

Communicate effectively with transport planners and warehouse teams
Requirements

Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
-
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card

No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, IN, or DD endorsements)

Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience preferred (training opportunities may be available)

Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations
