£14.00 per hour + night shift allowance

About the Role

On behalf of our client, we are recruiting Engineering Operatives to join a busy production facility based in Rotherham. This is a full-time, permanent position operating on a rotating shift pattern within a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment.

Shift Patterns:

  • Days:
    Monday to Thursday 06:00 – 14:00
    Friday 06:00 – 12:30

  • Afternoons:
    Monday to Thursday 13:00 – 21:00
    Friday 12:00 – 18:30

  • Nights:
    Monday to Thursday 20:30 – 06:00
    Friday 18:00 – 03:00
    (Night shift allowance applies)

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing computer-generated orders involving repetitive handling and lifting of heavy or large items

  • Accurately recording stock movement and usage

  • Identifying materials and using measuring equipment

  • Operating production and engineering machinery including CNC-controlled equipment

  • Moving materials using forklifts and overhead cranes (training provided if required)

  • Supporting production and dispatch activities

  • Working effectively both independently and as part of a team

  • Maintaining high standards of health and safety

  • Being flexible to meet operational requirements

About You

  • Previous experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or production environment

  • Mechanically minded with good attention to detail

  • Comfortable working with machinery or learning CNC-based processes

  • Reliable, flexible, and team-focused

  • Strong health and safety awareness

  • Experience with forklifts, cranes, or similar equipment is advantageous but not essential
