Job Description:

We are looking for a professional and reliable HGV Class 1 Driver to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers to work in a dynamic environment with guaranteed shifts and competitive pay rates.

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across various locations in a safe and timely manner. We offer full-time equivalent positions with guaranteed 5 days of work per week—no cancellations.

Immediate start is available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle to deliver goods to specified destinations.
• Ensure that deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company procedures.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it is roadworthy and compliant with safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure paperwork is completed correctly.
• Follow all road traffic laws, health and safety regulations, and company guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with the logistics team to ensure efficient and effective route planning.
• Report any vehicle issues or delays promptly to the operations team.

Key Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• 6 months experience required.
• A strong focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and nights as required.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence (preferably clean).

What We Offer:

• Hourly rates between £16.50 – £21.20 based on experience and shift.
• £250 Bonus after 8 weeks if you are working full time for us – 5 days per week – starting after 1600
• Various shifts available, including daytime, night shifts, and weekends.
