Winner Recruitment are currently supporting one of the largest Hair and Beauty wholesalers in the UK, with the recruitment of their new Warehouse Team Leader.

You will be joining the growing team at their head office in North Birmingham, where you will lead a team of 4 warehouse packers, you will be required to have a hands-on approach, provide guidance and support, and managed the team on a day-to-day basis.

Excellent communications skills will be required as you will be the contact point for all your team members, you should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration.

The duties of the Warehouse Team Leader will be:

  • Creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
  • Setting clear team goals
  • Delegating tasks and set deadlines for your internal team
  • Overseeing Day to Day operation
  • Managing a team of 4 Warehouse Packers
  • Monitoring team performance
  • Discovering training needs and provide coaching
  • Listening to team members feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts
  • Recognising high performance and reward accomplishments
  • Working closely with your line manager and other Team Leaders
  • Providing help to management including hiring, training, and development
  • Keeping management updated on team performance
  • Adhering to safety programs and compliance for a safe working environment
  • Following company policies and procedures

The ideal Warehouse Team Leader will have:

  • Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor
  • In depth knowledge of performance management
  • Good PC skills
  • Be able to read and write in English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Decision making skills

Salary for the role is £23,000

Benefits include 29 days holiday including bank holidays, car parking, social events, staff discount, pension scheme after 3 months

Hours of work are 8.15am – 5pm, 39 hours per week Monday – Sunday on a rota basis, you will be required to work 1 in 4 weekends
