Winner Recruitment are currently supporting a manufacturing and distribution company based in Tysley Birmingham, with the recruitment of their Warehouse Administrator.

My client is one of the largest suppliers into the food and hospitality sector across the UK and Europe and have been established over 50 years.

The purpose of the role is to provide an efficient, effective, and accurate administration service for the Warehouse Operations department, supporting warehouse management and staff in daily activities and ensure that all administrative processes throughout the warehouse operation are adhered to.

You are required to have an excellent working knowledge of SAP

The duties of the Warehouse Administrator include:

  • Producing, managing, and monitoring operations documentation including pick activity allocation
  • Being involved in other inbound and outbound administrative activities
  • Communicating and forming strong working relationships with Warehouse, Transport, Stock Control and Customer Service departments
  • Working to agreed Key Performance Indicators
  • Maintaining, updating, and recording accurate information
  • Providing feedback to management relating to the progress of work so that potential problem areas are identified and resolved quickly
  • Providing accurate administration of internal stock movements
  • Supporting and facilitating stock investigations and reconciliations
  • Other administrative duties as required

The ideal Warehouse Administrator will have:

  • Experience within a similar role
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Strong administrative and problem-solving skills
  • A good ability to plan and prioritise workloads
  • Be able to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Experience of working in supply chain, warehousing or logistics is desirable

The salary for the role is circa £20,000 depending on experience

The hours of work are Monday – Friday 6am-2pm
