Winner Recruitment are currently supporting one of the largest Hair and Beauty wholesalers in the UK, with the recruitment of their new Telesales Manager.

You will be joining the growing B2B team at their head office in North Birmingham, where you will lead a team of 6 Sales Executives, you will be required to have a hands-on approach, provide guidance, and support, and manage the team on a day-to-day basis.

The sales department has mix of inbound and outbound sales calls and customer service enquiries

The duties of the Telesales Manager will include:

  • Managing a team of 6 Telesales Executives daily
  • Monitoring KPIs, targets and calls
  • Supporting the team with escalated queries
  • Growing existing and new business accounts
  • Pushing promotions
  • Dealing with 121s, holiday, sickness and managing performance
  • Motivating the team
  • Answer incoming calls and proactively follow up on all queries accurately and consistently
  • Conduct outbound calls to maintain customer service
  • Fluently deliver outbound sales scripts, ensuring the decision maker is excited about the product or service promoted
  • Ensure accurate input of customer information and orders into internal databases
  • Ability to build rapport and effective working relationships with our extensive portfolio of customers
  • Excellent customer listening skills to generate repeat sales and upsell
  • Ability to recognise a business opportunity and have the confidence to pass the accurate information on to your line manager or the field sales team
  • Keep up-to date on all products and promotions and inform customers of new products

The ideal Telesales Manager will have:

  • Experience within a similar role
  • Management or team leading experience
  • B2B sales experience
  • Interest in the hair and beauty industry
  • Proven track record of providing excellent customer service in a telesales environment
  • Good communicative skills, both verbal and written
  • Positive attitude with a flair for problem solving
  • Team player who works well under pressure
  • Ability to handle challenging conversations and rejection

Salary for this role will be £25,000 (possible bonus and commission to be discussed)

Hours of work are 8.15am – 5pm Monday – Sunday on a rota basis, with you required to work 1 in 4 weekends
