Job Description:


Winner Recruitment are recruiting for an Internal Sales Executive to join a specialist distributer of insulation, drywall systems and associated products to all sectors of the construction industry.


My client was established over 40 years ago and they are very successful and well known within their industry.


With offices in 6 of the major cities within the UK, this company are growing year on year, it’s an exciting time to join, so if you are looking for a career within a successful, exciting, fast paced sales office, this is the role for you.


You will ideally have experience within distribution sales, but if you have a strong Internal Sales background you will be considered.


The duties of the Internal Sales Executive will be:

  • Maintaining and develop existing customer accounts.
  • Proactively targeting prospect accounts in given market sectors.
  • Working in partnership with our Warehouse/Transport teams to ensure successful and efficient deliveries to our customers.
  • Providing technical assistance to sub and main contractors to meet building regulations and specification, providing recommendation of product and maximising contribution.
  • Liaising with our External Sales Team offering support with pricing, quotations, order inputting and any other account management.
  • Effectively managing customer account with the support of our Head Office Finance team ensuring sales are maximised whilst ensuring the account is within trading terms.
  • Assisting the Sales Office Administrator in keeping comprehensive and accurate paperwork documentation on both Sales and Purchase operations. In addition to this the candidate will work closely with the stock controller to ensure excellent product availability at all times within a given stock budget.


Skills required for the Internal Sales Executive will be:

  • Distribution experience would be an advantage
  • Experience within a previous role
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Experience of B2B calls

Salary for this role is circa £25,000


Hours of work are Monday – Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm
